Facilities Water Technician

TSMCPhoenix, AZ

This technician will support TSMC’s Facilities team by keeping critical industrial water treatment and processing systems operating within required specifications. Daily work includes controlling pumps, chemical feeds, filtration, ion exchange, instrumentation, and related equipment while recording readings and inspecting for leaks or hazards. The technician will collect samples, perform tests such as pH and temperature analysis, investigate equipment problems, and complete corrective or preventive maintenance. The position also requires compliance with manufacturer instructions, regulatory requirements, safety procedures, and environmental protections, with possible emergency response duties. It suits an experienced industrial equipment operator who is comfortable working independently and collaboratively in physically demanding indoor and outdoor conditions.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; technical or trade education preferredFive or more years of industrial process piping experience preferredKnowledge of reverse osmosis, ion exchange, pumping, filtration, and automationAbility to read engineering drawings and perform basic mathematicsExperience with industrial or commercial processing equipment and laboratory testing preferredAbility to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights or in confined spaces, and wear a respirator
