Foundry Strategic Industrial Engineer

This engineer will develop models, systems, and processes that support long-range capacity planning, technology ramps, equipment scheduling, and cost optimization across Intel Foundry. The position works across technology development, supply chain, factories, finance, and other functions to evaluate demand, factory capabilities, investment choices, and operational risks. It also involves translating complex analyses into clear recommendations for stakeholders and senior leaders, while driving strategic initiatives and process improvements. The role suits an experienced industrial engineer or quantitatively trained professional who is comfortable with ambiguity, influential communication, and large-scale manufacturing decisions. Semiconductor manufacturing knowledge, strong business judgment, and experience with capacity or cost modeling would be especially valuable.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or statistics with 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent advanced-degree experienceExperience analyzing complex data and presenting actionable conclusionsKnowledge of industrial engineering principles and semiconductor manufacturingExperience with manufacturing capacity and cost modelingStrong cross-functional leadership, communication, and stakeholder influenceAbility to manage complex assignments and develop strategic recommendations
