Infrastructure and DevOps Architect

This architect will establish the infrastructure, deployment automation, and security practices needed to scale Intel’s data and application platforms responsibly. The position works within a collaborative team of data scientists and application developers whose tools support manufacturing strategy and execution. Responsibilities include managing cloud and Linux environments, containerized workloads, infrastructure as code, CI/CD systems, observability, and security controls. Success requires translating complex infrastructure and security topics for engineers, data scientists, security teams, and other stakeholders. The role is well suited to an experienced infrastructure or DevOps professional who can work independently, design reusable patterns, and balance operational reliability with rapid delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant post-university or industry experience3+ years administering Linux systems and troubleshooting networking, DNS, firewalls, and protocolsPython or Bash automation and ability to troubleshoot application code2+ years with AWS, Azure, or GCP, plus Docker and CI/CD platformsExperience with Git and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or AnsibleStrong security, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills
