Intern-Engineering (Software)

This internship contributes to the development and maintenance of Microchip’s MPLAB Visual Studio Code extensions, which provide embedded programming capabilities for the company’s device ecosystem. The intern will collaborate with experienced engineers and international teams to implement features, troubleshoot issues, and improve the tools used by embedded developers. Work may involve TypeScript, Java, Python, React, Git, Jenkins, and Jira. The role also includes understanding user needs and helping improve development and continuous integration practices. It is suited to a student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field who has programming experience and communicates effectively.
