Explosives Safety & Operations Engineer
This engineer will help manage and strengthen explosives safety and broader EH&S practices under the site Explosives Safety & Operations Manager. Key work includes reviewing facility and process designs, preparing safety plans and hazard analyses, auditing transportation, storage, integration, and test activities, and supporting external safety surveys. The position also investigates incidents, develops corrective actions, assists with environmental initiatives, and prepares the organization for regulatory and internal assessments. It suits an experienced safety professional with defense-industry explosives expertise who can interpret military and civilian standards and communicate effectively across all organizational levels. The job is based onsite in Tucson on the first shift and requires U.S. citizenship plus an active or obtainable Secret clearance, with an existing clearance preferred.
