Advanced Cyber Security Architect Engineer

This hands-on architect will join Honeywell’s centralized Product Security organization and collaborate with software, firmware, cloud, supplier, and business teams. The position will guide secure-by-design practices, strengthen SSDLC adoption, define security requirements, and lead activities such as threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, penetration-test review, and incident remediation. It also contributes to supply-chain security, AI security assessments, regulatory data protection, and security standards across products and services. The role suits an experienced product or application security professional who can influence diverse stakeholders, mentor technical teams, and translate security principles into scalable engineering practices. Candidates with cloud, DevOps, IoT or OT, cryptography, software security tooling, SBOM, or AI security expertise would be especially well suited.

Requirements

6+ years of product security, application security, or related field experienceHands-on expertise with Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices and toolingStrong understanding of security-by-design principlesKnowledge of NIST SP 800-218 and ISO/IEC 62443 standardsExperience with threat modeling and security assessment methodologiesStrong interpersonal skills with ability to work cross-functionally and influence diverse groups
