Mechanical Engineer I - Test Solutions - Onsite

The engineer will join RTX’s Test Solutions Engineering team within the Hardware Discipline Center, supporting test systems used from development and manufacturing through field sustainment. Responsibilities include designing mechanical systems for demanding vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical conditions. The role covers concept development, CAD modeling, drawing preparation, prototyping, validation, production support, and resolving equipment malfunctions. It is well suited to an early-career mechanical engineer who enjoys hands-on design, structured problem-solving, and collaboration across engineering and production teams. Work is fully onsite in Tucson, Arizona, and requires U.S. citizenship plus the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance before starting.
