Mechanical Thermal Engineer I (Onsite)
This engineer will work within Raytheon’s Mechanical Analysis and Test organization, helping assess and improve the thermal performance and robustness of complex systems. Responsibilities include conducting preliminary calculations and detailed modeling, developing and executing thermal tests, interpreting data, and refining analytical models based on results. The position also includes documenting work, participating in technical reviews, and communicating conclusions to internal and external stakeholders. The engineer will receive mentoring and collaborate with a large team of thermal specialists and other engineering disciplines. It is well suited to an early-career engineer with a STEM degree, hands-on or academic thermal experience, and an interest in aerospace and defense work requiring a security clearance.
