Sr. Manufacturing Supplier Quality Engineer

This engineer serves as the onsite supplier-quality representative for factory meetings, process assessments, and reviews of nonconforming material. They investigate defects in purchased hardware, validate root-cause analyses, coordinate containment or screening, and ensure corrective actions are completed effectively. The position partners with manufacturing, engineering, quality organizations, suppliers, and other internal teams to address recurring issues and improve performance using quality data. It is well suited to an experienced quality, operations, or engineering professional familiar with aerospace or defense hardware, formal quality systems, and supplier collaboration. The role is based onsite in Tucson and requires U.S. citizenship plus the ability to obtain an interim Secret security clearance.

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and typically eight years of relevant experienceExperience using root-cause and corrective-action methodsKnowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systemsAbility to inspect hardware and interpret engineering drawingsU.S. citizenship and ability to obtain an interim Secret clearanceSupplier quality, DoD oversight, SAP/PRISM, or Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred
