Principal Engineer, Systems Engineering (Systems and Mechanical Engineering – Electrostatic Chuck (ESC))

This role leads the hardware engineering function for electrostatic chuck and heater platforms at ASM, a major semiconductor equipment manufacturer. You will own the full product development cycle including design, safety validation, cost optimization, and manufacturing support, while also spearheading exploration of breakthrough technologies and new materials. The position reports to the Expert System Engineering Manager and requires someone who thrives in dynamic, multicultural environments, combining deep technical expertise in materials science and thermal engineering with strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration.
