Senior Specialist, People Partner

ASMPhoenix, AZ

This position joins ASM’s global People team and partners closely with business leaders to address workforce needs and strengthen organizational effectiveness. The successful candidate will guide managers through employee relations, performance decisions, talent planning, engagement efforts, and team or organizational changes while encouraging leaders to take ownership of people management. They will also analyze workforce information, identify recurring issues, coordinate with specialist HR functions, and lead selected projects that improve consistency and scalability. The role includes handling moderately complex employee matters independently and escalating sensitive or high-risk situations appropriately. It would suit an experienced HR professional who is comfortable in a collaborative, global environment and enjoys combining practical employee support with business-focused problem solving.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, psychology, organizational development, or equivalent experienceAt least 3 years of progressive HR experience supporting managersKnowledge of employee relations, performance management, talent processes, compliance, and the employee lifecycleAbility to coach leaders, assess risk, and exercise sound judgment on escalationStrong communication, collaboration, project management, and stakeholder skillsAbility to interpret workforce data and handle confidential information discreetly
