Lead IT Enterprise Security Architect

This position owns the security architecture roadmap and translates business, technology, regulatory, and threat considerations into scalable enterprise solutions. Working within the IT Enterprise Architecture function and alongside Honeywell Global Security, the leader establishes governance, reference architectures, and security-by-design practices across applications, infrastructure, data, and cloud platforms. The role provides guidance on areas such as zero trust, identity, network defense, data protection, DevSecOps, resilience, and vendor strategy while supporting risk, compliance, and audit objectives. It also involves advising senior executives, influencing global teams without direct authority, and mentoring architects and engineers. This opportunity suits an experienced enterprise security architect who can combine deep technical knowledge with strategic judgment, executive communication, and multinational leadership.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field10+ years IT experience including 5+ years enterprise architecture and 5+ years cybersecurity architecture or security leadershipExpertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF preferred), security frameworks (NIST, ISO, SABSA, Zero Trust), and cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP)Deep knowledge of identity and access management, network security, data protection, and risk/compliance frameworksProven experience leading enterprise-wide or global security transformation initiatives in large multinational environmentsCertifications valued: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, TOGAF, SABSA, or cloud security certifications
