This onsite production role supports Raytheon’s aerospace and defense manufacturing operations in Tucson by applying and inspecting a variety of protective and functional coatings. The technician performs surface preparation, masking, blasting, etching, mixing, spraying, curing, finishing, and rework across fabricated parts and composite structures. They operate specialized coating tools and equipment, monitor process conditions, troubleshoot minor equipment issues, and document results to confirm compliance with engineering and quality requirements. The position works with engineering and other technical teams when introducing new processes or correcting production issues. It suits a hands-on manufacturing professional with coating experience, strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and the flexibility to work any assigned shift, including overnight, while obtaining required security and ATF clearances.
