This specialist serves as a key point of contact for government property matters, including acquisition, receiving, identification, use, maintenance, inventory, subcontractor oversight, and contract closeout. Working within the Property and Logistics organization, the employee coordinates with DCMA, customers, suppliers, contracts, engineering, laboratories, and business units. The position also develops training, uses performance data to guide improvements, and contributes to initiatives that make property operations more efficient and reliable. Success requires knowledge of government property regulations, Federal Acquisition Regulations, and audit expectations, along with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and operational groups. It suits an experienced property, operations, or supply chain professional who holds an active Secret clearance and is comfortable working in a regulated defense environment.
