Mechanical Engineer I - Test Equipment
This engineer develops mechanical test systems used across vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio-frequency, and electro-optical environments. Working within a cross-functional Hardware Discipline Center team, the position helps ensure test equipment is accurate, reliable, and effective throughout product development, production, field support, and sustainment. Responsibilities include creating detailed CAD-based drawing packages, integrating and validating hardware, investigating malfunctions, and recommending improvements to production installations. The role suits an early-career mechanical engineer who enjoys hands-on design, analytical problem solving, and collaboration in an aerospace or defense setting. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance are required before starting.
