Electrical Engineer Intern
This internship supports the Hardware Discipline Center by creating test equipment and interfaces used throughout the product development and sustainment lifecycle. Responsibilities include designing schematics, cables, adapters, and analog, digital, or mixed-signal circuits, then validating solutions with laboratory instruments. The intern will also help build production and engineering test systems while balancing technical performance, cost, and schedule objectives. The position suits a STEM student who enjoys practical electronics, structured problem-solving, and working with multidisciplinary teams. Programming, technical communication, and task-management skills are valuable, and the role is based fully onsite in Tucson, Arizona with U.S. citizenship and security-clearance eligibility required.
