Commissioning Engineer II (Mechanical)

This engineer works with QTS development, design, construction, contractors, commissioning providers, and facilities operations to verify that data center systems are properly installed and ready for use. Responsibilities include witnessing equipment tests, validating chillers, pumps, water systems, cooling equipment, controls, BMS functionality, and safety systems, while maintaining thorough commissioning records. The position also helps resolve technical problems, strengthen quality controls, and provide lessons learned to program leadership. It includes mentoring less-experienced commissioning engineers and coordinating work so active campus operations are not disrupted.
