APTDSWA S7 Manufacturing Technician

This technician joins Intel’s Advanced Packaging Technology Development team, supporting substrate manufacturing and related production operations. Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating tools, performing preventive maintenance, analyzing equipment data, resolving production issues, and helping engineering teams conduct experiments and configuration changes. The technician also contributes to process improvements, maintains training materials, supports team certification activities, and participates in safety forums and emergency response duties. The position suits candidates with technical education or hands-on experience in manufacturing, equipment maintenance, military technology, or semiconductor equipment. It is an on-site Shift 7 role working Thursday through Saturday days plus alternating Wednesdays in Phoenix, Arizona.

Requirements

Associate degree in a STEM field, or qualifying technical/manufacturing experienceAt least 1 year of technical or trade certification, if using the education pathwayAt least 1.5 years of hands-on manufacturing or military technical experience, or 1 year in equipment maintenanceAbility to troubleshoot, operate, calibrate, and maintain manufacturing equipmentStrong judgment, adaptability, and ability to work independently with guidanceSemiconductor equipment experience and ERT certification preferred
