Mechanical Engineer II – Test Equipment, Onsite (Tucson, AZ)
This engineer will join Raytheon’s multidisciplinary Test Equipment Engineering organization, which creates test solutions used throughout product development, manufacturing, verification, and sustainment. Responsibilities include designing mechanical systems for environments such as vibration, thermal, hydraulic, RF, and electro-optical testing, as well as producing the associated drawings and technical documentation. The engineer will also validate equipment, troubleshoot manufacturing problems, and recommend improvements to increase accuracy and reliability. The position suits a mechanical engineer with hands-on design and production-support experience who is comfortable using 3D CAD and applying GD&T. It is a 100% onsite role in Tucson and requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
