Sr. Manufacturing Development Engineer
This engineer will lead manufacturing planning and technical improvement efforts across a program’s extended value stream. Responsibilities include developing manufacturing data packages, defining assembly and workflow requirements, reviewing engineering designs, assessing factory capabilities, and resolving production constraints. The position serves as a manufacturing and producibility resource while partnering with multidisciplinary teams on design changes, corrective actions, lean improvements, and process enhancements. It is suited to an experienced manufacturing professional with hands-on production knowledge, strong technical communication skills, and familiarity with drawings, GD&T, CAD, and manufacturing systems. The position is onsite at RTX’s Tucson, Arizona facility and requires U.S. citizenship along with the ability to obtain the required security and program access clearances.
