Principal Engineer - Digital Design
The Principal Digital Design Engineer will be a key technical leader on Microchip's Network and Connectivity Solutions team, responsible for developing mixed-signal IP and SoC products that combine analog and digital components. You'll manage the complete digital design lifecycle including RTL coding, functional verification, synthesis, static timing analysis, and test methodologies while collaborating with engineers across multiple global sites. This role requires deep expertise in digital design fundamentals, protocol knowledge in USB and Ethernet, and proficiency with enterprise CAD tools. You'll mentor junior engineers, drive design quality and timing closure, and serve as a technical bridge between digital, analog, and DSP teams.
