Specialist - Supply Chain

This position is part of Microchip’s Global Supply Chain and Component Operations organization, reporting to the Materials Manager. It manages purchasing requests, order changes, supplier quotes, overdue orders, item data, returns, and discrepancies involving deliveries or invoices. The specialist also contributes to cost-reduction initiatives, supplier discussions, ERP projects, and new product introduction activities. Success requires close collaboration with engineering, sourcing, supplier quality, finance, and project teams. It is well suited to an early-career supply chain professional with a business or supply chain degree, strong analytical and communication abilities, and solid Excel skills.
