Technical Writer/Editor

This position supports the development and upkeep of product, service, and internal process documentation within a collaborative technical communications and training function. The successful candidate will edit written materials, refine instructional videos, publish learning content, and help coordinate documentation workflows across several platforms. They will also contribute to content organization, version control, visual assets, chatbot response quality, and the application of professional style standards. The role is well suited to an early-career communicator who enjoys both detailed editing and multimedia or instructional work. Candidates should be comfortable learning new technologies, collaborating with subject matter experts, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Instructional Design, or related field0–3 years of technical writing, editing, or multimedia content experienceStrong writing, editing, communication, and attention-to-detail skillsFamiliarity with content lifecycle management, version control, and archivingExperience or willingness to learn tools such as XWiki, LMS platforms, video editors, and Adobe Creative SuiteKnowledge of Chicago and APA style guidelines; chatbot content review experience is a plus
