Senior Security Operations Engineer II

This engineer will support Axon’s InfoSec Engineering function by designing reliable security platforms that integrate smoothly into development workflows. Responsibilities include managing production Kubernetes clusters and container registries, securing AWS infrastructure, strengthening CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining vulnerability and CMDB management tools. The role also covers PKI, secrets, encryption, observability, incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and infrastructure automation. Success requires partnering with platform, SRE, and software engineering teams to improve security without slowing delivery. It suits an experienced infrastructure, security, platform, or SRE professional who is comfortable operating complex cloud-native systems and turning recurring operational problems into durable automated solutions.
