Manager Technical Accounting

This position supports the SBU Controllership organization by providing technical accounting guidance for new awards, contract performance obligations, revenue timing, and Estimate at Completion reviews. It partners with finance, program, audit, and controllership stakeholders to assess business activities and ensure consistent application of accounting policies. The manager will also assist with process improvements, system testing, data analysis, offset accounting, internal controls, and audit requests. Strong written and verbal communication is needed to prepare accounting white papers, memoranda, and other support for judgments and conclusions. This opportunity suits an experienced accounting, audit, or program finance professional who is comfortable working in a matrixed aerospace and defense environment.
