Principle Engineer - Architecture (m/w/d)

This position leads the architectural development of next-generation connectivity solutions for commercial, industrial, and automotive markets. The engineer translates customer and market needs into product concepts and specifications while partnering with marketing, silicon and software architects, external vendors, and global development teams. Responsibilities include functional safety and cybersecurity analysis, reference design development, technical partnerships, pre-production support, and creation of detailed engineering documentation. The role also involves delivering training to customers, sales personnel, and field application engineers. It suits an experienced electrical or systems engineer with broad hardware, software, silicon, and customer-facing expertise, particularly in embedded interfaces and globally coordinated product development.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalentMinimum 10+ years of relevant industry experience in architecture, applications, or systems engineeringStrong technical writing and documentation skillsExperience in at least two areas: Digital IC design, Mixed-signal/analog IC design, Hardware design, or Firmware/software developmentExpertise with networking interfaces (Ethernet, USB, PCI Express) or equivalent high-speed protocolsAbility to work effectively with globally distributed engineering teams
