Principal Signal Processing Systems Engineer

This engineer will join Raytheon’s Processing, Guidance and Controls organization and help turn raw RF or electro-optical/infrared sensor data into capabilities such as detection, tracking, classification, calibration, denoising, and sensor fusion. The work spans algorithm design, modeling, implementation, hardware/software integration, verification, and performance assessment through development and live-fire testing. The position requires senior technical judgment to address complex systems issues, support program execution, and communicate recommendations across engineering disciplines and customer-facing forums. It also includes mentoring engineers and potentially leading technical efforts. This opportunity suits an experienced signal processing professional with defense or sensor-system interests, strong programming and analytical skills, and the ability to work onsite in Tucson while holding or obtaining the required U.S. security clearance.
