Senior Software Engineer II (TASER Data Science)

This engineer will build and operate data products that connect TASER device data to analytics and training recommendations used by agencies and internal stakeholders. They will productionize research models with reliable serving, monitoring, version control, and failure handling, while also owning data pipelines from ingestion through user-facing applications. As part of a small, cross-functional TASER Data Science team, the hire will influence engineering standards and technical direction while working closely with data scientists, product leaders, designers, and law-enforcement domain experts. The position suits a self-directed engineer who is comfortable defining ambiguous problems, working across the stack, and delivering maintainable production software. Candidates with strong ML systems experience, messy real-world data backgrounds, and interest in mission-driven public-safety applications will be especially well matched.
