Senior Software Engineer II (TASER Data Science)

axonScottsdale, AZFull-time

As a Senior Software Engineer II on Axon's TASER Data Science team, you'll take research-validated models and transform them into reliable, production-grade systems that deliver actionable insights to law enforcement agencies. The team is intentionally small and diverse—including a former state police lieutenant, product managers with quantitative backgrounds, and data scientists who code seriously—giving you an unusually deep environment where you work across the full technology stack from device telemetry to user-facing dashboards. You'll own ML deployment practices, build data pipelines, define technical direction, and drive toward Axon's mission of reducing fatal officer-involved shootings. This role suits engineers who are technically self-sufficient, thrive in evolving requirements, and want to make measurable impact on public safety through rigorous engineering and data work. You'll work hybrid from Seattle or Scottsdale, reporting to the Director of TASER Data Science.
