Manufacturing Lead (Onsite)

This position serves as the operational leader for assigned manufacturing departments, ensuring production plans, quality standards, safety practices, and performance targets are met. The Manufacturing Lead supervises and develops Area Leads and operators through coaching, training, staffing decisions, and performance management. They work closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, Production Control, and EHS to resolve issues involving materials, defects, inventory, equipment, and production flow. The role also leads Lean, Kaizen, root-cause analysis, and other improvement efforts that increase efficiency and sustain stronger processes. It suits an experienced manufacturing supervisor or team lead who is comfortable using operational data, managing cross-functional escalations, and working onsite in a hands-on production setting.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; technical education or equivalent experience preferredAt least 5 years of manufacturing experience, including 2 years in a leadership capacityExperience supervising production teams, planning labor, coaching performance, and developing employeesKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 7S, root-cause analysis, and process improvementStrong understanding of production, quality, inventory, materials, equipment, and process controlsAbility to work 12-hour shifts, wear required PPE, and handle materials up to 50 pounds
