Critical Facilities Technician

This role supports the reliable operation of a mission-critical data center through equipment monitoring, inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities span HVAC, generators, plumbing, electrical distribution, fire detection and suppression, building controls, access systems, CCTV, and other facility infrastructure. The technician also processes work orders, documents completed activities in the maintenance system, coordinates with contractors, and responds to customer or facility emergencies. Work is performed as part of a facilities operations team under the guidance of a Facility Manager or lead technician. It suits experienced electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or critical-environment technicians who are comfortable with hands-on work, procedural compliance, rotating schedules, and urgent problem-solving.
