Technical Staff Engineer – Business Development (Aerospace & Defense, U.S. West Region)

The engineer will develop relationships with major aerospace and defense customers, uncover new opportunities, and support design wins for Microchip’s FPGA solutions. Working across sales, engineering, marketing, and product teams, the role will help resolve deal challenges, improve forecasting, and provide customer insight that shapes product and technology direction. The position also involves presenting technical information, representing the company at industry events, and producing papers or presentations that strengthen market visibility. It suits an experienced FPGA, semiconductor applications, technical sales, or business development professional who can connect complex technology to customer needs and influence cross-functional decisions. U.S. citizenship or another qualifying status under export-control rules is required, along with substantial travel in the region.
