Emergency Management Program Manager

This position sits within Waymo Operations and reports to the Head of Event Response, overseeing emergency response capabilities across domestic and international locations. The manager will build training and operating procedures, maintain facility-specific emergency plans, and connect crisis protocols with business continuity planning. They will coordinate with public safety agencies, prepare for hazards such as severe weather and geopolitical events, and lead exercises and post-incident reviews. The role also focuses on optimizing communications, paging, escalation handoffs, and support capacity during major disruptions. It is well suited to an experienced emergency management or operations leader who has scaled global response programs in technology, mobility, logistics, or similarly complex environments.
