2nd Shift Quality Inspector III

This onsite position supports Collins Aerospace’s Powers & Controls team by conducting inline and final quality inspections on aircraft electronic components. The inspector reviews technical instructions, engineering drawings, customer requirements, and work-order records while checking soldering, assembly, bonding, finishes, and internal hardware. Responsibilities include completing aviation or military release documentation, maintaining accurate records, issuing scrap certificates, and supporting ESD and FOD compliance. The role works closely with production teammates, support personnel, and customers, often with limited supervision and in a multidisciplinary setting. It suits candidates with hands-on quality inspection experience, technical reading skills, and the ability to work a physically active second-shift schedule.
