Facilities Automation (IOT) Engineer
This engineer will lead the design, deployment, and optimization of IoT solutions for facility assets, including sensors, edge devices, communications infrastructure, and analytics platforms. The position works with Facilities engineering teams, vendors, system integrators, and facility users to translate operational needs into secure, reliable, and scalable automation systems. Responsibilities include evaluating technologies, interpreting electrical and mechanical documentation, integrating IoT devices with systems such as SCADA, MES, ERP, and CMMS, and supporting digital transformation initiatives. The role is suited to an experienced IoT, automation, electrical, computer, or telecommunications engineer who can manage complex technical projects and communicate effectively with varied stakeholders. Candidates must hold a relevant advanced degree, have at least three years of related engineering experience, and be willing to work onsite in Phoenix, with possible emergency response duties.
