Critical Facilities Maintenance Technician

This role is part of the data center facilities operations team and focuses on keeping critical and non-critical infrastructure in dependable condition. Responsibilities include assisting with HVAC, plumbing, generators, fire protection, access and security systems, building controls, lighting, and general building repairs. The technician also documents maintenance through electronic work-order systems, performs property inspections, manages tools and supplies, and helps move equipment or materials as needed. The position suits someone with hands-on facilities experience, basic electrical or mechanical knowledge, computer proficiency, and a safety-focused approach. It requires physical activity such as ladder use, kneeling, tool handling, and lifting, along with flexibility for overtime or occasional weekend shifts.
