Technology Development Foundry Engineering – Senior Staff Engineer

IntelPhoenix, AZ$155,520.00-$255,200.00 USD annually

This position sits within Intel’s Logic Technology Development organization and supports the company’s expanding foundry business. The engineer will guide multi-project wafer and new product introduction programs, monitor wafer and silicon health, address device and yield issues, and coordinate transitions into production. The work requires close collaboration with internal technology, manufacturing, quality, packaging, and customer teams, as well as clear communication of technical progress and risks to senior stakeholders. It is well suited to an experienced semiconductor professional who can operate across disciplines, lead root-cause investigations, and influence execution without direct authority. Candidates with foundry or fabless customer experience, GAA process knowledge, and strong technical leadership skills would be especially relevant.

Requirements

Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or PhD with 4+ yearsDegree in engineering, physics, materials science, or a related disciplineAt least 4 years in process integration, device engineering, or yield engineeringExperience with GAA technology nodes preferredFoundry customer or fabless semiconductor engagement experience preferredStrong communication, leadership, and cross-functional influence skills
