This position at RTX's Vision Systems division focuses on the design, development, and verification of read-out ICs for advanced image sensor technology. You'll work with cross-functional teams spanning chip architecture, design, verification, fabrication, and testing to create cutting-edge mixed-signal integrated circuits. The role requires expertise in full-custom CMOS design at the transistor level, system simulation, and CAD tools, with responsibilities that may include technical leadership of major design initiatives. This position suits engineers with 5+ years of relevant IC design experience who are comfortable with complex analog and digital integration, system-level thinking, and can guide projects from specification through successful completion. You'll be based onsite in either Goleta, California or Phoenix, Arizona.

Requirements

5+ years of full-custom CMOS IC design experience at transistor level, or advanced degree with 3+ years experienceProficiency with CAD tools (Cadence, Mentor Graphics), simulation tools, and programming languages (Python, MATLAB)Experience with System Verilog, RTL coding, and high-end UNIX-based design and verification toolsKnowledge of ROIC architecture, mixed-signal design flows, and semiconductor device physicsExperience with analog/mixed-signal circuit blocks such as ADCs, amplifiers, or LVDS transceiversU.S. citizenship required for program access
