Corporate Accounting Mergers Acquisitions Specialist

This position sits on Intel’s M&A and ICAP Accounting team within the Chief Accounting Office and helps translate complex transactions into reliable accounting and finance processes. The manager may lead carve-out financials, transition service arrangements, entity migrations, close activities, and integration or disintegration work across Finance and other business functions. Success requires evaluating transaction information, identifying US GAAP and reporting considerations, researching complex accounting questions, and developing practical solutions. The role is well suited to an experienced accounting professional who can influence senior stakeholders, manage projects through ambiguity, and operate effectively in a fast-moving multinational environment. Candidates with public accounting, valuation, SAP, and acquisition or divestiture experience would be especially relevant.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 4+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 3+ yearsCPA or equivalent certificationAt least 3 years of public accounting and/or valuation experienceStrong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, ASC 805, and ASC 810Experience managing complex projects and cross-functional stakeholdersAbility to work independently in ambiguous, high-pressure environments
