Life Safety Systems Construction Engineer

This engineer will work within the New FAB Design Department, focusing on code-compliant systems such as fire alarms, suppression equipment, gas detection, and emergency responder infrastructure. The position is primarily onsite and involves coordinating contractors, reviewing technical submittals and drawings, inspecting work, and tracking construction progress and safety. It also supports responses to RFIs, construction meetings, commissioning, and final system approval. The opportunity suits an early-career fire protection, mechanical engineering, or construction professional with U.S. fire construction experience who is comfortable working in an active semiconductor construction environment. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and resolve field problems are important.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in fire protection engineering, mechanical engineering, construction management, or equivalent semiconductor industry experience1-3 years of U.S. experience in fire construction or related fieldOn-site construction supervision and contractor coordination experienceKnowledge of fire safety codes and regulatory requirementsTechnical ability to review construction documents and shop drawingsStrong communication and project documentation skills
