Senior Technical Staff Engineer – IC Analog Design

This engineer will lead the design of performance-sensitive blocks such as ADCs, DACs, bias circuits, bandgaps, and comparators from system definition through post-silicon debugging. Working within an international, cross-functional SoC development organization, the position converts product requirements into circuit specifications and manages tradeoffs involving performance, power, area, reliability, noise, and linearity. The engineer will guide layout implementation, collaborate with foundry technology teams, and use simulation, automation, and laboratory measurements to validate designs and diagnose silicon issues. The role suits an experienced analog IC designer who enjoys ownership, hands-on technical work, and influencing silicon quality across the development cycle. Strong communication, organization, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative approach are important for success.

Requirements

12+ years designing high-speed analog circuits including DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, and comparatorsBroad experience with sigma-delta and SAR ADC architecture developmentProficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and Matlab plus scripting languages (Skill, Python, Tcl)Hands-on lab testing, debug, and silicon bring-up experience with correlation to simulationsStrong fundamentals in circuit theory, layout, noise analysis, and on-chip matchingBSEE minimum, MSEE preferred; excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
