Principal Systems Engineer - Processing, Guidance, & Controls Engineers t

This engineer will support Raytheon’s Processing, Guidance, & Controls organization across areas such as autonomous-system controls, navigation, sensor processing, and product-level simulation. Responsibilities include creating and evaluating algorithms, building dynamic models, analyzing test results, troubleshooting performance issues, and improving system designs. The position works closely with software, electrical, mechanical, systems, and test engineers to integrate and validate complex products. It is suited to an experienced systems or controls professional with substantial work in aerospace, defense, or other complex engineered systems. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance are required, and the work is performed onsite in Tucson with occasional travel possible.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, physics, mathematics, or related STEM field plus at least 8 years of relevant experienceExperience in GNC, navigation, state estimation, signal processing, modeling and simulation, or related systems engineeringBackground with algorithm development, system performance analysis, test-data analysis, debugging, or validationExperience using MATLAB, Python, C, C++, or object-oriented designAbility to obtain an interim Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship requiredExperience collaborating across multidisciplinary engineering teams preferred
