Water Section Construction Engineer

TSMCPhoenix, AZ

This engineer will help deliver reliable water infrastructure for a continuously operating semiconductor fab, from design and contracting through construction and startup. Responsibilities include supervising field work, coordinating across organizations, managing schedules and quality controls, commissioning systems, and developing local construction partners. The position works closely with manufacturing, facilities, consultants, suppliers, and contractors to address reliability and quality concerns. It is suited to a technically trained engineer with construction or water-system experience who communicates well, leads effectively, and performs comfortably in demanding industrial environments. The role is onsite in Phoenix and may require climbing, lifting, respirator use, confined-space work, and exposure to varied weather, equipment, and industrial conditions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in construction management, environmental, or chemical engineeringAt least 2 years of semiconductor water-system operations or construction supervision experience preferredExperience coordinating contractors, suppliers, and cross-functional teamsStrong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and resolve construction issuesAble to meet physical and safety demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working at heights or in confined spaces
