CNC Machinist II

This position supports production manufacturing by independently setting up and running CNC milling or turning equipment. The machinist downloads programs, adjusts controls and offsets, replaces tools, and responds to equipment or quality issues during production. The role also requires precise inspection using a range of calibrated gauges and the ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T requirements. The successful candidate is an experienced, detail-focused machinist who can follow work instructions, maintain organized records, and work safely around machinery and industrial materials. This role suits someone comfortable with physical shop-floor work, quality-focused production, and continuous improvement practices.

Requirements

At least 5 years of CNC manufacturing experience, or qualifying training and associate degreeAbility to independently set up and operate CNC mills or lathesKnowledge of G and M codes, tool changes, and offset adjustmentsAbility to read blueprints and apply GD&T principlesProficiency with precision measuring and inspection equipmentBasic Microsoft Office skills; Lean manufacturing knowledge preferred
