Electrical Engineer II, RF Test Engineer

This engineer will create and execute test strategies that verify wireless devices against product, performance, and regulatory requirements. Working with hardware, software, design, and external laboratory teams, the role measures OTA and conducted RF behavior, analyzes results, and recommends design improvements. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues such as weak sensitivity, limited transmit power, and interference, as well as supporting real-world evaluations and certification activities. The position suits an electrical or RF engineer with strong hands-on experience using communication testers, analyzers, chambers, and related equipment. It is especially appropriate for someone experienced with cellular devices, certification standards, technical documentation, and collaborative debugging who can work independently in a fast-moving product environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or RF EngineeringMinimum 3 years hands-on RF and wireless device testing experience with cellular (LTE, 5G) as a must-have3+ years developing wireless test plans and characterizing RF components and multiband devicesStrong knowledge of RF principles, cellular certification processes (PTCRB, CTIA, GCF), and regulatory standards (FCC, CE, ETSI)Proficiency operating RF test equipment including CMW/CMX communication testers, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzersStrong documentation and communication skills with ability to debug RF issues collaboratively
