Manufacturing Equipment Technician (MTE) - Back End Nights Shift - Shift 6

The technician joins Intel’s Advanced Packaging Technology Development team, supporting equipment used in wet chemistry, plating, and dry high-vacuum processes. Daily work includes diagnosing electrical and mechanical problems, setting up and calibrating tools, analyzing performance data, and completing scheduled and corrective maintenance. The role also involves documenting repairs and parts, partnering with engineers, and contributing to root-cause investigations and process enhancements. It suits candidates with hands-on semiconductor or electromechanical maintenance experience who are comfortable working nights, following strict cleanroom and safety practices, and communicating with technical teams. The position is based onsite in Phoenix and requires frequent standing, walking, ladder use, and occasional lifting.

Requirements

Meet one listed education and experience pathway, such as a STEM bachelor’s with 2+ years or a technical associate degree with 5+ years of maintenance experienceHands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing, installing, or operating electromechanical manufacturing equipmentKnowledge of wet chemistry, plating, or dry high-vacuum tool systems is preferredAbility to use multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers, micrometers, and hand toolsAbility to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawingsAbility to work overnight in a cleanroom and meet physical requirements including lifting 25-pound parts
