Industrial Engineer SME

This position supports the Power & Controls Industrial Engineering function by improving capacity planning, production efficiency, digital manufacturing adoption, and operational excellence. The engineer will train and guide industrial engineers, manage strategic improvement projects, and collaborate with scheduling, manufacturing, and other business teams. Responsibilities include strengthening SAP and Kinaxis-based capacity processes, leading lean improvement events, advancing tools such as real-time location systems and electronic andon, and improving facility and workforce utilization. The role is based onsite at a Power & Controls location in Rockford, Windsor Locks, Phoenix, Charlotte, or West Des Moines, with travel among sites and relocation assistance available. It suits an experienced manufacturing or industrial engineering leader who can influence across functions, mentor early-career professionals, and deliver enterprise-scale improvements.
