Industrial Engineering Intern (Summer 2027)

This onsite internship places the student within RTX’s OSCQ Excellence organization, offering exposure to industrial engineering activities across the manufacturing lifecycle. The intern will evaluate capacity and simulation data, help prioritize factory improvement efforts, and support projects involving layout, line balancing, process mapping, yield improvement, and constraint reduction. The position is suited to a currently enrolled engineering student who has completed at least 60 credit hours and wants practical experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing. Candidates should be comfortable with industrial engineering tools, Microsoft Office, teamwork, and continuous improvement methods such as Lean or Six Sigma. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain the required interim and final security clearances are essential.
