SkillBridge Intern DOD: Test Technician, 2nd Shift (Onsite)

The technician joins the Collins Aerospace operations and testing function within RTX, partnering with engineering and manufacturing personnel to verify that aerospace hardware meets technical requirements. Daily work includes configuring test stands, taking electrical measurements, analyzing results, diagnosing equipment or unit failures, and completing repairs or modifications to the component level. The technician also reads schematics and technical documents, performs basic calibration and troubleshooting, records findings, and helps resolve production or test issues. This opportunity is intended for transitioning active-duty service members who meet DoD SkillBridge eligibility rules and can work onsite on a Monday-through-Friday second shift. It suits candidates with hands-on electronics experience, comfort using diagnostic instruments, and the ability to interpret blueprints or schematics, especially those with aerospace or technical training backgrounds.
