Principal Industrial Engineer IV
This position supports a portfolio of defense manufacturing factories and partners with operations, engineering, program, and frontline teams to strengthen production performance. The engineer will analyze labor, capacity, process flow, material movement, facility layouts, and production constraints using mapping, simulation, CAD, and other analytical tools. They will lead continuous-improvement initiatives, support new product introductions and proposals, and help shape factory expansion, equipment, and technology plans. Success requires influencing teams without direct authority while delivering measurable gains in safety, quality, cost, schedule, and throughput. The role is well suited to an experienced industrial or manufacturing engineer who enjoys complex aerospace or defense environments and can combine technical analysis with strategic project leadership.
