Electrical Engineer I - Effector Guidance Sections

This engineer joins Raytheon’s Land & Shipboard Effector Guidance Systems organization, which develops and sustains electrical products across their lifecycles. Responsibilities include debugging circuit card assemblies and electromechanical systems, coordinating with operations and quality teams, and helping resolve issues during manufacturing, testing, and system integration. The position offers exposure to electrical components, RF and mixed-signal design, laboratory instrumentation, and formal engineering development and certification programs. It is a good fit for a recent STEM graduate who enjoys practical troubleshooting, cross-functional teamwork, and defense-oriented engineering projects. Applicants must be eligible for a U.S. security clearance and willing to work onsite in Tucson with limited travel.

Requirements

STEM degree with less than two years of experienceExperience with RF, analog, digital, mixed-signal circuits, or digital signal processingLaboratory experience using oscilloscopes, waveform generators, spectrum analyzers, or network analyzersU.S. citizenship and ability to obtain an interim Secret clearanceStrong troubleshooting, collaboration, and technical communication skillsWillingness to travel less than 10% annually
